Text: John14:16-18
Every believer should crave baptism in the Holy Ghost; Act 2:38. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the right of every believer. When repentance is genuine, the gift of the Holy Spirit is automatic (Acts 10:44).
God’s word is pregnant with God’s power and Grace. The end-time army will torment the devil through the manifold wisdom of God. The Spirit of the Lord equals anointing and power (Isaiah 11:1-3, Revelation 5:6, 1corinthians 12:1-7).
Hence, to live an overcomer’s life, you need the help of the Holy Spirit. We need the Holy Spirit because man will always need help, and He is our resident helper; Psalms 46:1. Without the Holy Spirit, you cannot navigate your way through the storms of life.
Why do we need the Holy Spirit?
Man would always need help, and He’s our always present help ( 2 Corinthians 4:13, Luke 18:8, 1 Timothy 4:1, Habakkuk 2:4, Luke 22:31). All the diversity of Gift and the Holy Spirit are for our profiting; Hebrews 10:29. Every spiritual gift feeds on the word to sustain impact. Every gift of the spirit is life; John 6:63.
The Spirit of Faith
– It takes the Spirit of faith for your faith to remain intact and wax stronger in battle; Ephesians 6:16.
– The Spirit of faith is the master key to a world of exploits; Hebrews 11:33 – 35.
– The Spirit of faith rises against opposition any day, anytime.
Faith is the key to victory in life’s affairs, so it is consistently under attack in these end times (1 Tim. 4:1, Luke 22:31). Everybody needs the spirit of Faith to live a life of more than a conqueror; Hebrews 11:33.
Faith is a universal currency!
Faith would deliver the same result everywhere you are. You need the spirit of Faith to live an overcomer’s life. You need the Spirit of Faith to navigate this wicked world (Jude 1:3, Luke 1:17). Faith is the spirit of just men been passed on from generation to generation
The Spirit of Faith will die a natural death without being fed. Hence, you need to read the materials of the men of Faith. You starve the Spirit of Faith to death without the word. Every man of Faith who would sustain impact needs the word; Psalms 45:1.
If you are not in the Word, you cannot be of worth. If you’re not with the word, you start losing your worth.
Eight characteristics of the spirit of Faith
The spirit of Faith embraces us to believe the unbelievable, thereby empowering us to accomplish the impossible (Acts 24:14, Mark 9:23). Don’t just read the Bible; read books from proven authors who explain the truth with proofs. The Spirit of Faith speaks the unspeakable; Matthew 10:20, 1samuel 17:49.
Whatever God can do, faith can make happen!
Characteristics of the Spirit of Faith
1. It believes in the unbelievable, allowing us to accomplish the undeniable; Acts 25:1.
2. It speaks the unspeakable; Matthew 10:20, 1 Samuel 17:42.
3. It makes incredible moves; Hebrews 11:7, Exodus 14:14-15.
4. It is ever at rest amid the storm; Mark 4:38.
5. It dares the undareable.
6. It silences the enemy; Daniel 2:19.
7. It puts you in command of situations and circumstances; Mark 9:23, 10:27-28.
8. It engenders a spontaneous response of faith to issues and challenges of life; Acts. 3:6.
Covenant Day of Breaking Generational Curses
Curses are real but reversible (Colossians 2:14). Generational curses signify all struggles, including addiction, marital delay, hereditary diseases, etc. Every cycle of evil indicates a curse, but when you become born again, you are free from all curses (Proverbs 26:2, Numbers 23:8, Acts 3:26). Faith is all you require to break all the curses of life. You break curses by engaging the force of the Spirit of faith; Mark 11:19-21. Serving God and the interest of His Kingdom keeps you under His blessings (Exodus 23:25-26).
