MINISTERING: Bishop David .O. Oyedepo

TEXT: Exodus 14:14

To be thankful is to keep scaling new heights without sweat; 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

To be thankful always is to see prophetic words come to pass; 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Hebrews 10:36.

If you don’t want to be grounded, be grateful!

To be genuinely thankful, is to keep provoking divine intervention at will. Thanksgiving provokes a continuous flow of fresh oil that silences the enemies and causes you to flourish in season and out of season. The more thankful you are, the more joyful and strengthened you will be.

The less thankful you are, the less joyful you will be, and the more weakened you will become. God still takes over the battles of His people today. When you are thankful, God takes over your battles; Exodus 14:14.

How to Get God to Take Over The Battles of Your Life

1. Have a proven new birth experience;  Matthew  7:20.

– The fruit of the Spirit are the virtues that authenticate salvation. You have to be God’s child in order for Him to take over your fight; Exodus 14:14. God provides for His children so you have to be His child in Spirit and in truth before He can take over your battles.

 2. Keep walking in obedience to God’s Word; 2 Corinthians 10:6.

– When your obedience is fulfilled, you silence all opposition. Obedience may be costly, but the end result is priceless. When you walk in obedience, you cannot miss God’s presence.

3. Remain committed to walking in the fear of the Lord; Genesis 39:21; 42:18.

4. Stay in love with God; 1 John 4:16, Isaiah 43:1-3.

 – Say no to what God hates and yes to what He loves. Staying in love with God makes God naturally take over your battles.

5. Remain committed to serving God faithfully; Dan. 3:26 – 27, Exodus 23:25 – 26.

– When you serve God, you are keeping company with God.

 6. Engage the altar of prayer and fasting for divine intervention; Acts 12:10.

7. Commit to sustaining God’s presence for an ever-winning life; Numbers 21:1, 1 Corinthians 10:10.

– When you sustain God’s presence, the devil trembles in your presence.

The Blessings of a Father

– The blessings of Fathers cause us to prevail where others travail; Genesis 49:22 – 26.

– Every prophet sent your way is sent as a Father; Num. 6:25-27.

– The blessings proclaimed by your biological parents are powerful.

– The blessings proclaimed by your spiritual parents are powerful.

If you hear a proclaimed blessing, grab it. Believing every statement of it.

Don’t ever toy with priestly, prophetic or parental blessings. They are blessings you can never buy with money.
