“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your my ways , saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” – Isaiah 55:8-9
From the scriptures, we understand that there are certain scriptural fundamentals that empower believers to fulfill their glorious destiny in Christ in grand styles.
Among these biblical fundamentals are the following:
First, we understand that God appoints a specific place of worship for every believer.
Just like no man chooses his nationality or nativity, in the same vein, our place of worship is as ordained of God.
As it is written, “Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest: But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.” Deut. 12:13-14
There is something unique about our God appointed place of worship and to be out of one’s ordained ‘place’ is to be ‘displaced’, and we all know the challenges faced by ‘displaced people’ around the world today.
When one is saved, he belongs to the household of faith, the household of God. Every Church is a family unit in this global household of God – Ephesians 2:19
The truth is that our dignity, security, and future is reserved for us in our God’s appointed place. As it is written, ” Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,” – 2 Samuel 7:10
Our appointed place of worship is our prophetic city of refuge today – Joshua 20:1-4
We will recall, how God once commanded Abraham to go and offer up Isaac for a burnt sacrifice at a place that He, God would show him. But it took Abraham three days to locate the said mountain. Remember, that was where Abraham had encounter with the sworn blessing that secures his generations after him till date. Let us just imagine that Abraham stopped anywhere else other than the place appointed, he would have wasted Isaac and lost his place in destiny! – Genesis 22:1-5/15-18.
This is why we must not allow distance to discourage us from settling down in our God’s appointed city of refuge.
We would also recall that when God led this commission into the place called Canaanland today, it did not look like a place where anything good can come out from, but see what the Lord has done, see how God has multiplied His Church several times over since we came to this ‘forest of uncertainty’ as it were. Remember, as i have often said, obedience may costly, but the end result is priceless.
I believe God is about to do something unusual in the life of every Winner this year, but according to scriptures, “As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place” – Proverbs 27:8
Secondly, we must understand that God appointed Shepherd Over every believer.
Every sheep requires a shepherd to fulfill her destiny and just as no one chooses his biological parents, in the same vein; no one chooses his pastor for himself, God does. All we need is to be able to know the shepherd set over us.
The Bible says, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.” – Jeremiah 3:15-16.
Every shattered destiny can be recovered under one’s God-appointed shepherd, as he feeds us with wisdom and knowledge and ministers to our diverse needs as empowered by the Spirit of God.
As we all know, no matter how matured a sheep is, the security of his destiny is in remaining under a shepherd. No matured sheep that can look after herself, in the same vein, there is no mature believer that will not require a shepherd.
Every child of God that does not have a shepherd is a spiritual destitute and his destiny is at risk.
Many believers don’t come close to fulfilling their destiny, because they lack a God ordained shepherd over their lives.
We must recognize that, the devil has always remained the old “trick-star”, who is out with his traps of deception to ground God’s plan and purpose for our lives. As it is written; ” Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” – 2 Cor. 2:11
We must not give up on God, He is the last hope of every soul; He is our ever dependable, ever reliable and our every present helper in time of needs.
But the Church is God great store house from where we access our supplies. As it is written; “For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.” Psalms 132:13-15. (See also: Heb. 12:20-24).
This is why the Holy Ghost is making this pertinent call for every challenged Winner to return back home and give up on all misgivings, so as to fulfill their glorious destiny in Christ.
Jesus Christ the Great Shepherd of the sheep is waiting with a welcome package for every returnee. My prayer is that every returning Winner shall be satisfied with the goodness of this house, as they take delivery of their portion of the prophetic Breaking Limits package in this highly prophetic year, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Amen and Amen.
Jesus is Lord!
