Topic: Unveiling the Ever-Winning Weapon of Wisdom (Pt. 1A)
Speaker: Bishop David Oyedepo
The core evidence of faith is rest.
Your life is expected to be a reflection of where you belong.
When you break away from your source, the flow ceases. Therefore, remain connected to your source!
God trains His people for war.
Ps. 18:35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

You need skills in engaging the weapons of war.
You must train up to command victory in battles.
God prepares you for battles behind the scenes before you can emerge victorious.
Endeavor to subscribe to personal development in order to build up your spiritual muscles.
Life is a battlefield; don’t approach the battles of life casually.
Get equipped for the battle to win the war.
Gal. 2:1-8 Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man’s person for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles
It is not enough to be armed; you must be strong for the battle.
Pro. 22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
Training is often rigorous; you must endure hardship as a soldier of Christ.
2 Tim. 2:3-6 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
Don’t just sit and watch your situation; it is time to do something about it.
The wisdom of God is the ever-winning wisdom in the battles of life.
Acting on the instructions of scriptures in specific areas of your life is what is called wisdom.
How to Access God’s Wisdom
1. Through prayers.
James 1:5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

2. Through the study of the Word.
2 Tim. 4:13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
3. Through meditation.
Meditation gets you to the realm where you become smarter than your enemies.
Following the dictates of the Scriptures while believing, is your access to the ever-winning wisdom of God.
You need the right Word to tackle the issues confronting you.
You can’t engage God’s Word and lose in the battles of life.
Ps. 119:97-98 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
Biblical Examples of People Who Commanded Victory Through Faith and Wisdom
1. Moses.
Ex. 3:7-10 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
2. Gideon.
Judg. 6:14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
3. David.
1 Sam. 17:42-45 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
4. Paul the Apostle.
Eph. 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
2 Tim. 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
When you put God’s wisdom together with faith, it helps you win every battle of life.
How to maintain the flow of God’s order of wisdom:
1. Keep making demands for wisdom to know how to win your battles.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
2. Keep walking in the fear of God.
Dan. 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
3. Stay in love with God for sustainable access to His wisdom.
2 Sam. 14:20 To fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
4. Continue to demand the endowment of the Spirit of wisdom.
Isa. 1:1-3 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
Eph. 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
5. Be committed to the study of the Word.
1 Tim. 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
6. Maintain the joy of the Lord in your heart.
Phil. 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
1 Thess. 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Enough is Enough Ministration

Your spiritual authority is domiciled on your tongue, and until you declare that enough is enough with the negative happenings in your life, the devil will not stop afflicting you.
2 Sam 24:16 And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing place of Araunah the Jebusite.
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
It is not what you say that matters but what you say with faith in your heart. Open your mouth wide against anything you don’t want.
Ps. 56:9 When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Your biological lineage is inferior to your spiritual lineage; connect to your source and enjoy victory in the battles of life.
To secure your all-around rest, keep renewing your covenant to serve God as a lifestyle.
