Topic: Walking in the Highway of Holiness (Part 4A)
Speaker: Bishop David Oyedepo
Sanctification is not a seasonal walk but a daily walk with God.
Your ultimate inheritance is eternity with Christ.
Even when the world fades away, eternity will not.
To avoid regrets, you must subscribe to the demands of sanctification.
The Beauty Of Holiness
- Holiness secures divine presence.
Isa. 45:1-3: Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
John 8:29: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
– Divine presence is the greatest asset of a child of God.
In God’s presence, everlasting doors are opened unto you.
– You can’t secure God’s presence without committing to doing what pleases Him.
- Holiness secures access to ever-flowing Favour.
Ps. 5:12: For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
– Favour attends to you naturally when you are committed to pleasing God as a lifestyle.
– An encounter with favour is worth more than a lifetime of struggle.
No strength, skill, or experience can handle the devil.
You need the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
1 John 3:7-8: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Exposing Controlling powers
- Unclean spirits.
Matt. 12:44: Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
- Spirit of Bondage.
Rom. 8:15: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
- Spirit of addiction.
- Spirit of covetousness.
- Spirit of sexual perversion.
1 Thess. 4:3: For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
- Spirit of whoredom.
Hosea 5:4: They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
- Spirit of rebellion.
- Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
1 Tim. 4:1-2: Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
The greatest temptation of this present age is pride, and it destroys.
God is not against your advancement as long as you don’t make a God out of it.
Always acknowledge the grace of God upon your life.
Sanctification Through Faith
Every revelation of the truth is delivered by faith; it takes faith to see any revelation come to pass in your life.
This means that sanctification is impossible by human strength; you need faith to live a sanctified life.
Faith is a must for anyone who wants to please God because the truth of God’s Word only delivers according to your level of faith.
Whatever God can do, your faith can make happen.
Anyone who wants to please God will succeed only by faith.
The truth of your freedom lies in your faith.
Mark 2:5: When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
Jesus is the way, the truth and life; this means there is a way out of any form of sin you may be struggling with.
You can be free from every harassment of the devil, and you can be free from pride, but the delivery of your freedom lies in faith.
Your justification that is triggered by righteousness is only a reality through faith. – Rom. 1:17

Covenant Day Of Fruitfulness Ministration
By redemption, you become a seed of Abraham and a partaker of the blessings of Abraham.
Deut. 7:14: Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
Gal. 3:14: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
As a seed of Abraham, you have been redeemed from the curse of barrenness.
Deut. 28:18: Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Terms of the Covenant Of Fruitfulness
- Be born again and remain so.
Rom. 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
– The covenant of fruitfulness demands new birth for access. Let your walk with God be practical, not theoretical.
- Serving God as a way of life.
Exo. 23:26: There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
– When you serve God as a lifestyle, you are exempted from miscarriages.
- Keep rejoicing in the Lord.
Isa. 54:1: Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Joel 1:12: The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
– Don’t let go of your joy so you don’t destroy your harvest.
