Following the pathway of righteousness commands goodness and mercy to follow you. When you are sanctified, you have created a magnetic field that attracts goodness and mercy.
Psalms 5:12: “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
God’s wisdom is not hanging in the sky; it is in faith-driven Word practice. There is no intellectual capacity under heaven compared to God’s wisdom. The Word only works for those who do the Word; it is not common sense but heaven’s sense.
Benefits of Sanctification
1. It secures access to revelation that triggers supernatural breakthroughs.
Psalms 25:14: “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.”
Isaiah 60:8: “Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?”
Access to revelation is blocked when you make ungodliness your lifestyle.
2. It secures answers to prayers.
Psalms 66:18 – 19: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Proverbs 28:13: “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
3. It secures access to fresh oil that destroys yokes and causes one to flourish like a palm tree in and out of season.
Psalms 92:11 – 12: Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
It takes a renewal and repositioning to qualify for fresh oil.
4. It secures divine health and wholeness.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
John 5:14: “Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”
Not every sickness is a result of sin, but many are.
5. It engenders supernatural promotion.
Daniel 1:8: “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”
Daniel 6:4: “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.”
6. It secures durable riches.
Deuteronomy 8:18: “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
Proverbs 8:18: “Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.”
Durable riches demand righteousness for sustenance.
Pathways to Righteousness
1. Engage the name of Jesus in the battle against sin, and you will overcome it.
Luke 10:17: “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.”
Philippians 2:9: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”
Romans 11:29: “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
2. Flee from all appearances of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:22: “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
1 Corinthians 6:18: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”
1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
3. Be conscious of keeping a godly company.
Psalms 1:1 – 3: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Proverbs 13:20: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
1 Corinthians 15:33: “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
The terms of making heaven are within the reach of your compliance. The company you keep matters in defining your destiny.
4. Recognize that it is impossible to live a sanctified life without faith.
Matthew 11:6: “And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
NOTE: It is not possible to please God in the energy of the flesh, but when you engage the faith factor, the virtue of heaven flows to make it as easy as breathing.
Costs of Ungodliness
1. It blocks access to divine wisdom, which holds answers to every question of life.
Genesis 42:9: “And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.”
2. It stirs shame and reproach.
Proverbs 14:24: “The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.”
3. It stirs fear and dread.
Genesis 3:10: “And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
Proverbs 29:25: “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
There is no unforgivable sin with God; all you need is genuine repentance.
2 Corinthians 7:10: “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
1 Kings 21:27 – 29: And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
Ezekiel 18:21 – 22:
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Psalms 37:18 – 19: The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
