Speaker: Bishop David Oyedepo
You can conquer the toughest battles through praise.
2 Chronicles 20:3: “And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”
When you praise God, the toughest battle will be won cheaply. When you don’t know what else to do, praise is what’s next to do.
High praise commands supernatural breakthroughs in battles. When you praise God, He turns your shame into dignity. Praise warfare is vital for commanding supernatural victories in battles.
Praise warfare is an unnoticed but vital and powerful weapon of war.
Psalms 22:3; 114:7: “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
“Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;”
Praising God clears the barriers off your path. Everything that clears the way for God clears the way when praise goes up.
Praise should not be limited to the month of praise; rather, it should become your lifestyle.
Amongst the battles we fight are the battles against spells and enchantments, imposed by the wicked, but salvation guarantees access to an irreversible order of blessing.
Numbers 23:8 – 20: How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:
Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
Long Life Ministration
When you are saved, you come under the blessings God released upon Abraham which include long life.
Genesis 15:15: “And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.”
Galatians 3:13 – 14: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Jesus already conquered death for you by redemption and He is holding the key to life in your favour.
Revelation 1:18: “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
1 Corinthians 15:57: “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
The covenant of long life answers to your revelation of God’s Word. It is as far as your eyes can see. Therefore, let your confidence in God come alive.
Philippians 1:22 – 25: But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
Whatever God says, He creates when received, believed and acted upon.
Genesis 25:8, 15:15: “Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.”
“And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.”
Galatians 3:13 – 14: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
To Enjoy the Covenant of Long Life:
1. Be born again and remain so.
1 John 5:4: “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
To remain on God’s side, you must guard your salvation jealousy.
2. Be committed to serving God as a lifestyle.
Service unto God naturally entitles you to long life.
3. Free yourself from the fear of death.
And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Psalms 23:2: “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
Nothing scares fear like faith. The consciousness of God’s abiding presence in you is the cure for fear.
4. Be quick to demand for your long life rights in the covenant when challenged.
Isaiah 38:10: “I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.”
Put God in remembrance of His promises from the Word.
5. Take up the shield of faith against the threat of death.
Ephesians 6:16: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”
Hebrews 11:34: “Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”
6. Be committed to a lifestyle of joy, rejoicing, thanksgiving and praise.
Proverbs 17:22: “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
Psalms 92:2, 10: “To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,”
“But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.”
Joy is a health therapy in the Kingdom. No matter what happens around you, never lose your joy.
