Introduction
You are a child of destiny; you are justified to be glorified. Every child of God has a future. Your future is lined up in God’s plan and not your plan, and it is laid up in God’s Word.
The Bible is God God’s dream book. We catch our future from the scriptures; inside the scriptures lies the enviable future of God’s children. You have a future notwithstanding what you’re going through now. Every child of God has a predestined destination.
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” Ephesians 1:4.
The new birth is a function of God’s predestination.
“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”
“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.”
“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Romans 8:10 -13.
If you’re born again you’re God’s choice. To be born again makes one a child of destiny. Interestingly we all have a common destiny in Christ.
There is an expected end established for the lovers of God. If you are born again, you are God’s choice for favour, lifting, rulership and dominion. You have a future in Christ, your current circumstances and limitations notwithstanding.
Your destiny will only go as far as your eyes can see. Hence, your spiritual understanding defines the limit of your destiny in the kingdom. We all have a common destiny in Christ but reaching that destiny is as far as your eyes can see.
“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:”
“For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.” Genesis 13:14 -15.
“The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.” Proverbs 21:16.
The Bible is God’s book for His children; you must find out God’s plan for your future from the scriptures so the devil will not sway you.
Pictures of Our Destiny in Christ
1. We have a holy destiny in Christ.
“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Isaiah 5:13.
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21.
“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.”
“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.” 1 John 3:7 – 8.
Being born again empowers believers to live a new life.
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14.
By redemption, sin has been placed under your feet, it is only what you allow that happens.
2. We have a glorious destiny.
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3
Your destiny in Christ is precious; don’t sell it off!
Note:
The reason many believers are wounded in a revival is because of spiritual carelessness.
“Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.” Isaiah 28:22.
We have been destined and called apart for glory and virtue. Glory and virtue are the exact opposite of shame and reproach.
Therefore in the name of Jesus Christ, every spell of shame and reproach in your life drops off today! Amen!
We are in a very delicate kingdom, any testimony you mock, you disqualify yourself from it and any move of God you mock; you remove yourself from it.
“And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;” 1 Thessalonians 4:11.
How to Know If You Are Born Again
1. The fruits of the Spirit begin to manifest in you.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Galatians 5:22.
It is also known as the fruit of a regenerated spirit.
Without a drawing towards God, your new birth is questionable. Being born again draws us into a realm of love for God and with God and for the interest of His Kingdom.
2. Your heart for God comes alive.
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
“And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.” 1 John 4:16, 21.
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35.
Being born again gets you into a realm of love for God, love with God and love for the interest of His Kingdom. God is love, so if you are born of God, you will love the brethren.
3. The joy of salvation erupts within you.
“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” 1 Peter 1:8.
No genuine child of God ever comes up with suicidal thoughts.
When the Spirit of joy is at work in you, depression goes far away from you.
4. You enjoy supernatural rescue from the works of the flesh.
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,”
“Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,”
“Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19 – 21.
“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:” 1 Thessalonians 4:3.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,”
“Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9 -11.
Every child knows the touch of the mother; without a drawing towards God, your new birth is questionable!
Keys to Actualizing Your Glorious Destiny in Christ
1. Have a heart for God.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.
You can’t have a heart for God and not make a remarkable mark on earth.
2. Have a thirst for the Word.
A thirst for the word is what it takes to realise our glorious destiny in Christ.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” Isaiah 55:1.
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Acts 20:32.
“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:3.
Information is knowing what God has provided but revelation is knowing what it takes to take full delivery. You are allotted your inheritance through a revelation from God’s Word.
Revelation is not just knowing what God has provided but knowing what it takes to take delivery.
“And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.” Daniel 11:3.
“Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” Malachi 3:8.
Winning Invisible Battles Ministration
No battle on earth can disregard the authority of faith. Faith is your answer to winning every invisible battle. Little faith cannot stand the storm of invisible battle, you need to build your faith to the exceeding great faith level.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12.
“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” Deuteronomy 2:24.
The good news is you have what it takes to win the war!
Types of Faith
– Little Faith
– Great Faith
– Exceedingly Great Faith
Little faith cannot stand the storm.
Faith comes by hearing and understanding the Word of God. You cannot build your faith by wishing. The battles of life are in the realm of the Spirit. Therefore, locate your weapon of faith and sharpen it for battle.
Build strong faith and you quench all the fairy darts of the enemy.
“Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.” Psalms 74:20.
Build strong faith; it is God’s asset to bring you out of the storm. Build strong faith and you quench all the fairy darts of the enemy. What builds strong faith is access to the deep things of God. The deeper your access to the Word, the brighter you shine and the further darkness is from our domain.
To Win Invisible Battles:
1. Be born again.
2. Build your faith and engage with it in battle.
3. Seek spiritual empowerment and outbreak of light through prayer and fasting.
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”
“Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 58:6, 14.
4. Be committed to kingdom advancement endeavours to secure divine presence that will level out all invisible barriers on your path.
“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” Luke 10:1.
Stop waiting for a reward, keep working!
