Text: 1 Corinthians 12:7
Every believer needs the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We cannot make the most of our lives without this helper working with us. The Holy Spirit has a diversity of operations but the same spirit.
“And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.” 1 Corinthians 12:5.
Every manifestation of spirit delivers upon demand hence, there is a demand before delivery.
“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.” 1 Corinthians 12:31.
We don’t have to wait but must make a demand in areas of challenges!
Every breakthrough has its roots in spiritual breakthroughs; spiritual breakthrough is the mother of all breakthroughs.
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6.
If you let the shepherd lead you, you shall not want.
“And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.” Isaiah 48:21.
Spiritual well-being is key to our overall well-being; those who truly fear God, do well in life.
“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:”
“And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;” Isaiah 11:1 – 2.
Four Vital Manifestations of the Holy Spirit
1.The spirit of holiness
It always empowers man with the strength to please God and destroys the thirst for sin. The spirit of the fear of God guides our steps to live a godly way of life.
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6.
Our Golden destiny cannot be made possible in the energy of the flesh!
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,”
“Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9 -10
The Holy Spirit brings us into favour.
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 3:1.
We need the refiner’s fire of the Holy Ghost to help us turn from anything that displeases God. Indeed, we need the spirit of holiness
“The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever.”
“They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.” Psalms 37:18 -19
Living upright secures destiny in and out of season.
The Spirit of prayer and supplications
It empowers believers to be fervent in prayer and helps our infirmity in prayer. When the Holy Ghost takes over you’re convinced God has answered.
“For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.” 1 Corinthians 14:14
Receive afresh the spirit of Grace and supplications! Amen!
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:”
“And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” 1 John 5:14 – 15.
God’s will is to have all men saved.
“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9.
“Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30.
The spirit of Servanthood for leadership
“And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.”
“But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.”
“For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.” Luke 22:25 – 27.
Your self-esteem doesn’t equal enthronement. Genuine servants end up as newsmakers. It is service to God that gets a man enthroned and keeps our levels changing.
You will know when you’re out of service with God.
The Holy Spirit is the spirit of praise that empowers the redeemed to operate in the supernatural.
“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17.
“Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11.
“And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.” Acts 16:26.
Don’t join the Murmur’s company!
May everything murmuring in every one of us die today! Amen!
“Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” Psalms 45:7.
The Holy Spirit decks you with the garment of praise.
Covenant Day of Favour Ministration
A hundred years of labour is not equal to one day of favour.
“And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.” Exodus 12:36.
We don’t wait to experience favour; we entreat or provoke it.
“And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.” Psalms 45:12.
By favouring the matter of the kingdom you trigger God’s favor.
Ways to Trigger God’s Favour
-Be born again and remain so
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.
By redemption, you’re a child of favour. No one with a heart truly panting after God and the interest of His kingdom ever runs out of favour.
Serving God’s interest keeps the believer flowing in favour.
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” Psalms 35:27.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33.
- Stay in love with God
“Howbeit the LORD God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:” 1 Chronicles 28:4.
If you love Him He’d make a surprise out of your life. - Walking in obedience unleashes obedience on believers.
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21.
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:” Deuteronomy 28:1.
He makes us stand out in his favour when we obey him.

- Genuine membership reflects the source
“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;” Romans 11:17. - It brings one under a strong prophetic covering.
“But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.” Matthew 14:16.
