Serving God and His Kingdom Yields Incomparable Rewards
Serving God is likened to a prosperous business venture, offering high-level benefits.
Opportunities to Serve God:
- Praying for the dissemination of the eternal word of life to establish new converts and members in faith and in the church (John 6:68, Acts 6:4, 7, 2 Thessalonians 3:1). Every individual has a personal duty to invest in prayer before any service (Ephesians 6:19-20).
- Praying for supernatural intervention to meet the needs of members. Believers have an intercessory responsibility; hence, discussions should turn to intercession (Colossians 1:3, Ephesians 6:18).
- Engaging in financial investments towards the advancement of the kingdom. We seize opportunities rather than letting them pass by (1 Chronicles 29:3, 14).
- Staying committed to the kingdom care covenant as a lifestyle (Galatians 6:10, Hebrews 6:10). Consistency and continuity are key.
Qualifications for Returns:
- We should regard serving God as a privilege, not a burden. It’s being selected out of many to serve Him advantageously (Jeremiah 23:33-36).
- Serving God diligently (Hebrews 11:6).
- Serving God with goodwill (Ephesians 6:7-8).
- Serving God tirelessly (Galatians 6:9, Psalm 20:1-3). Service transcends the present; it’s also for the future.
Returns of Serving God:
- Guarantee of express answers to prayer (Isaiah 58:9, 1 Kings 18:43).
- Divine exemption from the evil day (Malachi 3:18).
- Access to high places (Habakkuk 3:2-4, 19).
- Establishment in the faith (John 15:2).
- Preservation of eternity with Christ (2 Timothy 4:8).
Covenant Day of Breaking Generational Curses:
“Biblical Causes and Cure of Generational Curses”
- Curse of God (Genesis 3:16-19, Exodus 20:4-5, Zechariah 5:4). The cure: obedience and joyful service to God (Deuteronomy 28:1).
- The curse of the Law. The cure: being born again and staying in love with God.
- The curse of devils. The cure: being born again and committed to serving God, resulting in dominion over the works of the devil.
- The curse of man. The cure: being born again, keeping faith active, and remaining under God’s blessings.
