Text: Luke 2:49
Serving God is not a religious activity; it is a big-time business!
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” Romans 12:11.
Platforms for Kingdom Stewardship
1. Praying for the flow of the word of eternal life that establishes people in the faith.
“Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.” John 6:68.
When the Word of eternal life goes forth, people will gather.
2. Praying for supernatural intervention for the needs of members to be met so they can abide in the faith for life.

Those who show mercy do not lack mercy, and those who show favour do not lack favour.
What you show to others will be shown to you.
You can’t show favour and lack favour!
You can’t show mercy and lack mercy!
There is nothing you give that you are permitted to lack. Give according to your level.
When you serve God with your giving, He keeps the means flowing.
How to Qualify for Rewards in Stewardship
1. Keep serving God as a privilege, not as a burden.
“And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:33.
For your Stewardship to be rewarded, it must be result-oriented. No casual approach ever makes an impact in any field.
2. Keep serving God tirelessly.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3.
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58.
Your service to God should be approached with devotion, like you do in business.

Covenant Day of Breaking Generational Curses
Curses are real; the effects are visible but the source is invisible. Behind every curse is a source.

Sources of Generational Curses:
1. The curse of God.
“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”
“And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”
“Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;”
“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” Genesis 3:16-19.
“I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.” Zechariah 5:4.
Disobedience is at the root of the curse of the Lord. Every curse of God is reversible by repentance.
2. The curse of the law; Deuteronomy 28:15-63.
The major curses of the law are poverty, sickness and death. Redemption is the only escape from the curse of the law.
3. The curse of the devil.
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:” Luke 22:31.
“Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!” Numbers 23:23.
The curse of the devil is not caused by any reason. You don’t have to offend the devil before he afflicts you. The way out is to maintain a covenant walk with God. Be committed to serving God. Keep serving God and you will see Satan fall like lightning from Heaven.
4. The curse of man.
“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.” Isaiah 54:15.
“The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.” 1 Samuel 2:6.
“And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.” Exodus 4:23.
The curse of man is caused by fellow men.
The way out is to keep your faith alive. When God blesses you, no man can curse you.
5. Self-inflicted curses.
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3.
“Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?” Ecclesiastes 5:6.
“Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.” Isaiah 28:22.
Self-inflicted curses are caused by its victims and it has distorted many destinies. The way out is to keep your mouth under control; let your mouth not cause your flesh to sin. Don’t move your tongue against the blessed or else you inflict God’s curses on your life. Beware of mocking the move of God so you won’t end up a mockery.
