Text: Proverbs 23:7
No one can operate in the supernatural with a natural mentality
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee (Proverbs 23:7).
The supernatural is the natural estate of the believer; John 3:8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is everyone that is born of the Spirit.
We’re born to live supernatural lives.The supernatural is expected to be the natural lifestyle of every believer.
No one can operate the supernatural with a natural mentality. According to scriptures, the supernatural is ordained to be the state of the redeemed, we are born to live supernatural lives;
2 Corinthians 5:17.
The supernatural is expected to be the natural way of living of every believer.
How do we migrate to the supernatural?
It takes a supernatural mindset to experience a supernatural lifestyle. We must reposition from a natural thinking to a supernatural thinking.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch (Malachi 4:1)
The prophetic calendar cannot be pushed aside by prayer, we must recognize that the hard times are here;
Exodus 16:8 – 35.
8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.
9 And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.
10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.
13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
16 This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
29 See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.
33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.
34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.
35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.
How to get access to supernatural supplies
- Through Kingdom service; Exodus 23:25
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee ( Luke 5:3, Psalms 34:10, Job 1:9).
Serving God is our access pass code to receiving blessings from God; Luke 5:1-8. We are living in a day and age where natural labour cannot produce anything; Psalm 34:10.
When serving God becomes your lifestyle, the supply of heaven becomes your portion; Job 1:1.
- Through Obedience; John 2:5
His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
No one gains access to an over running blessing without obedience, obedience is the trigger that provokes the release of heaven’s supply. Even if what God is saying does not look like what is required, Obey. There is power in Obedience.
Mary the mother of Jesus said in John 2:5, whatsoever He tells you to do, do it. Overflowing blessing is the result of committed obedience; Deuteronomy 11:18 – 21; 28:1 – 2.
There is power in obedience, those who ignore scriptural or prophetic instructions, become a victim in hard times
Obedience is a key that none of us must neglect but obedience may not be convenient, many times God gives instructions that are contrary to comfort, whatever will comfort your future may discomfort your present.
This is the best time to sow.
Heaven’s resources does not answer to prayer, it is not a prayer point, it is a Obedience point
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
20. And thou shalt write them upon the doorposts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21. That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
How do we migrate from the natural to the supernatural realm? The challenge is that we are born through a natural system, we have a natural upbringing. Schools and talents have so trained us in the natural that we must be re-trained in the supernatural.
It takes a supernatural mindset to experience a supernatural life!
The last days are ordained to be hard times by God; Malachi 4:1.
We are in the days when the shakings of the earth will affect every corner of the earth, we are living in the days where no pasture is green without a personal encounter, it is a prophetic calendar of God, for the world it will be generally hard but for those who align with GOD, It will be personally sweet;
Romans 12:2.
It takes a new mind to enjoy a new life.
The hardship is real, the hard times are here but supernatural supplies are real;
Exodus 15:8,35
God knows how to supply His people even in the wilderness. The God that rained manna will supply your need.
3 million people in the wilderness, morning and evening for forty years in the wilderness, there was nowhere to go and harvest wheat but God was raining bread from heaven.
3. Winning souls; John 4:36
Get sold out running after the lost, we are told to follow the faith of those ahead of us, we see God’s servant, our father running after the lost, that’s one of the keys to supernatural supply.
4. Through tithing; Malachi 3:11
Tithe is 10 percent of Gods blessings, it is God’s portion that ensures you don’t lose your portion
The tithe is the key that unlocks your heritage of wealth from above, when you pay your tithe on the earth, it answers in heaven, it is our tithe that unlocks whatever our cloud is pregnant with to begin to fall on our life
Record whatever you earn, give God His own before you spend your own
It is only what is ten percent that is tithe.
5. Engage the force of faith.
Faith is a non negotiable factor in the course of supernatural supply Luke 1:45 your faith must be engaged wholeheartedly, our connection to the supply of heaven is absolutely a product of our faith, don’t be concerned on things happening on the earth, the covenant can never fail
Ensure your faith is intact.
Examples in scripture
- Elijah; 1 Kings 17:1, 19:17.
- Widow of Zarephath; 2 Kings 4:1-3.
- The feeding of the 5000 men; John 6:11.
- Coin from the mouth of the fish; Matthew 17:26.
There comes a point where the things happening in your life are a surprise to you, there is a reality packaged for you as far as supernatural supply is concerned.
