You’re breaking new grounds now in the name of Jesus Christ. We welcome ourselves into God’s presence this evening from the book of
Isaiah 43:18 & 19
‘Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.’
There are many things that have happened before now; you’ll be saying bye-bye to them on this mountain. Why is that so? He said, ‘Behold, I will do a new thing’
On this mountain in your life, in my life, in your family, in my family, in your career, in the works of your hand, in your relationship, in every department of your life, God will do a new thing. I said, God will do a new thing. Look at what it says next: it says, ‘Now it shall spring forth,’ that is, it will not wait, it will happen in this very moment. There are many of us hearing my voice tonight; before you depart this mountain, it has happened already. Whatever that new thing is, that new ground is, on this mountain it has happened already.
What did he say next? He said, ‘Shall ye not know it?’ That is, it will not be a secret. It will be an open manifestation. I welcome you to your mountain of open manifestation. Now listen to what it says next: ‘I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.’ The things that people think are impossible, the things that are unimaginable, the things that are inconceivable — for you, on this mountain, it will happen speedily. That’s why God called us and conveyed us under this canopy and called it breaking new grounds, because it will be new things on every side. In career, new things; in business, new things; in Ministry, new things; in a relationship, new things; in health, new things; in spiritual life, new things; on every side, new things. That shall be your testimony in the name of Jesus.
But it is important for us to understand that the pattern of God for the delivery of new things is always the same. The Bible says in
1 Corinthians 2:9:10
‘Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit.’ That means that before there are new manifestations, there must be new revelations. And that is why God has brought us to this mountain — to open our eyes, to cause us to see new things that will cause us to experience new things.
What does that mean? It means the greatest error any man can make on this mountain is to be on this mountain with closed eyes, to be on this mountain with closed ears, to be on this mountain with a closed heart. Therefore, our eyes must be open, our ears must be open, our hearts must be open.
In your seated position, will you lift up your right hand before the Lord? Lord, on this mountain, open my eyes, open my ears, open my heart to the new that will be unveiled on this mountain. Open my eyes, open my ears, open my heart; I must not miss my portion upon this mountain. Open my eyes, open my ears, open my heart; I will not miss my portion in the name of Jesus Christ.
I welcome you to your own mountain of encounters. On this mountain, your eyes will see things, your ears will hear things, and your heart will receive from heaven. Congratulations. Welcome to your mountain of breaking new grounds. Will you give Jesus a big, big hand of praise? He’s worthy of all the glory.
