Ministering: Pastor David Jnr.
Anchor Scriptures: John 12:24, Mark 4:30-33.
John 12:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”
Mark 4:30-35
“30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32 But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
33 And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear it.
34 But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.”
The Kingdom of God demand the sowing of seed in oder to emerge with Greatness. When a life of individual become dedicated to God that individual life begin to bear unimaginable fruit.
What is Dedication?
- Dedication is self-denial in pursuit of the kingdom.
Mark 8:34-35 “And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. Until your discipleship cost you something, it can’t pay you anything. 1Cor 9:26-27 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
2 Tim 2:3 “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” - Dedication is being dead to self and alive to God.
Gal 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
Gal 6:14 “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” - Dedication is making one’s life a seed to God.
Psalms 22:30 “A Seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a Generation.”
God’s Greatest Desire is for you to give yourself to him.
Isa 61:3-4 “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.” Making your life a seed is the formula for generational impact. - Dedication to the things of God is the mystery behind the rise of giants. How dedicated you are today determines how far you rise in life. Life is not an adventure in luck but an adventure in dedication.
Key Areas of Dedication
Dedication to God and the interests of His kingdom must be taken as a business.
Luke 2:49 “And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”
- Praying Kingdom Advancement Prayers.
Matt 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
If your personal request is too long it’s because your spiritual engagement is low. Your prayer list is a picture of your spiritual state.
Acts 6:4 “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the Word.”
1 Thess 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”
Luke 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
Prayer is a platform for our stewardship.
Matt 6:6 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
If your prayer altar is silent before God, you cannot emerge as a giant before men. Never be tired of engaging the altar of prayer. Let your spirit man be continuously charged. - Passionate Pursuit of Souls.
John 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
2 Cor 5:15-20 “15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
Anyone that is genuinely dedicated has a passion for the lost souls. Give yourself to the process of soul winning. Do it with all joy - Follow Up on Converts.
