Topic: Vision is key to commanding dominion.
Anchor Scripture: Joel 2:7-8
“7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.”
The Holy Spirit is the custodian of God’s agenda for His people. That is why it is important to be baptized in the Holy Spirit in order not to leave our lives to chance.
John 16:13-14 “13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
If you haven’t been baptized in the Holy Spirit, your salvation has not been certified.
Two Major Ways God Reveals Himself
- Through Heavenly Vision
- Through The Word
The Holy Spirit is the Revelator of the Word and The Voice behind every Heavenly Vision.
John 14:26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Vision determines the pace at which you move. The Holy Spirit has to move you step by step. Everyone needs the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. With the Holy Ghost, you enjoy accelerated maturity.
Every Heavenly Vision has the following characteristics:
1. When God leads, He goes before the led to make the crooked parts straight.
John 20:4-5 “4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.”
Isaiah 45:1-3 “1Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”
2. God goes with you to make things happen.
Rom 8:31 “Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”
Opposition bows on their own Accord.
3. He walks with you. Isaiah 48:17 “Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lordthy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”
4. He works through you. Philippians 2:13 “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
5. He works for you.
Prov 29:13 “The poor and the deceitful man meet together: the Lord lighteneth both their eyes.”
Without vision, the people perish. Stripped of honour and dignity without vision. Vision is the product of an encounter with God which unveils God’s plan for us as individuals.
Hab 2:1-2 “1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Vision can also be defined as seeing the future through the eyes of scripture.
Isaiah 29:11 “And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:”
Why Do We need Vision?
- No one knows the Function of a Product better than it’s Creator/Designer.
Isa 46:9-10
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:“
Jer 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
2. There’s a way that seems right but the End is Death.
A discovery of divine plan is the beginning of the race to your ordained destination.
Heb 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”
To miss one’s place in destiny is to live like a destitute.
Deut 5:32 “Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.”
Eph 1:3-6 “3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Behind our salvation is the mystery of predestination.
Acts 13:48 “And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.”
Salvation is purely an election of grace.
Vision has nothing to do with your likes, passion or giftings, it’s about God’s plan for your life. We are products of God’s factory.
Ps 100:4 “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
His purpose for us was established before we arrived on earth. We carry His purpose. Once discovered, life becomes highly profitable. Don’t wander from your place.
1 Cor 7:24 “Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.”

– EVERYONE IS ABSOLUTELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTCOME OF HIS/HER LIFE.
– DON’T FOLLOW THE VOGUE, FOLLOW THE VISION
NOTE: Every vision is about a task accomplished or mission fulfilled. It’s not about acquisitions or fame. Any vision without an assignment is a balloon vision. Your vision is incomplete without a specified mission.

TASK: Liberate mankind from the operations of the devil!
HOW TO ACCESS GOD’S PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE
1. Be born again and be filled with the Spirit
2. Crave for access to God’s plan for your life.
Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
3. Be Spiritual.
1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
4. Be committed to walking in the Spirit.
5. Be meek: If you cannot be corrected, you cannot be directed.
It is not enough to discover our vision, it must be pursued to see it fulfilled. Stay focused on your mission or you miss it.
BIBLICAL PROOFS OF GOD’S VISION OR LEADING
1. Every true vision engenders divine peace.
Ps 85:5 “Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?”
2. Every true vision enhances liberty in your spirit.
Acts 20:22-24 “22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
3. Supernatural Joy.
Ps 89:15 “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.”
Ps 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
4. Divine Enablement.
Judges 6:14 “And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
Joel 2:7 “They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:”
5. Supernatural breakthrough. No struggle to make things happen.
Exo 23:30 “By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.”
Deut 7:22 “And the Lord thy God will put out those nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.”
Don’t be afraid of God’s plan. It’s the safest plan. Follow His plan, you will never lack testimonies.
God has a plan for me, it’s my responsibility to locate it for my profiting.
Those who make news don’t watch the news
If you are afraid or ashamed to be different, you will never make as difference

Prophetic Declaration
God that lead me will begin to lead you
The same God that has keep my destiny from derailment
May you locate the place you will flourish like a palm tree
May you locate the place where the children of the wicked shall not locate you
