Message Title: Unveiling the Foundation for Dominion.
The Foundation of Anything Determines its Stability.
*Foundation: This is the solid on-the-ground base for something
Your dominion can only become a reality when you have the right foundation
2 Tim. 2:19 “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
Sanctification means separation from sin and defilement and dedication unto God, sanctification is a two-edged sword, one separating us from sin and defilement and then keeping us dedicated to the things of God, sanctification is a personal, non-transferable responsibility, you must take responsibility for your sanctification
1 Thess 5:22 “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”
1 John 3:3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
What is the foundation for dominion we’re unveiling?
2 Tim 2:19-21
“19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.“
Sanctification
The foundation of anything determine the stability, strength and durability. Foundation means the solid on the ground base for something
Sanctification is a personal responsibility, Sanctification is present and continuous. Encounter with God is only accessible on God’s own terms
Exodus 19:10-11
“10 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.”
1 Thess: 4:3 “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:”
Identification is a personal none transferable responsibility, you must take responsibility for your sanctification. No one can sanctify you for you
1 Jn. 3:3 “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
Just as brushing your teeth and putting on clean clothes is part of your daily personal cleansing, spiritual cleaning must be present and continuous.
Brushing your teeth is part of your personal cleansing, putting on your cloth is part of physical cleansing just the same way spiritual cleaning is present and continuous.
Sanctification is not a gift, it is a choice. There is a serious battle against sanctification.
The Christian life isn’t a playground but a battlefield, we must be determined to conquer that battle,
1 Cor. 2:1 “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.”
Heb 12:4 “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.”
If you don’t disconnect yourself from some people, they will disconnect you from God.
The friends you keep either make you or marr you.
Separate yourself from all ungodly friendships and it will be easier for you to live a sanctified life.
Who is your best friend? Would you want to be like that person? If your answer is no, change your friend. As a Christian, you have no business befriending an unbeliever.
What it takes to live a Sanctified Life
1. Genuine repentance.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
– There must be genuine repentance from every know and unknown sin.
2. Be committed to self examination.
2 Cor. 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
– Self examination is the best examination.
Luke 15:17 “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
3. Feed on the word of God.
Ps. 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
Eph 5:26 “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word”
– Every Word study time is a time for a spiritual shower and cleansing.
4. Maintain a pure conscience.
Acts 24:16 “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.”
5. Maintain pure thoughts.
Pro. 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”
Mark 7:23 “All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
– To live a sanctified life, your thoughts must be purified.
6. Keep the right company.
1 Cor. 15:53 “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”
– Who is your best friend?
7. Depend on the Holy Spirit.
1 Sam. 2:9 “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.”
Jude 1:20 “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost”
Life is meaningless and useless without eternity.
The more you clean up, the more you climb up.
Sanctification takes you up and keeps you up.
Benefits of Sanctification

3. Supernatural Breakthroughs.
4. Access to our inheritance in Christ.
5. Eternity with Christ.
